Datagroup is a leading telecommunication operator on the Ukrainian integrated fixed-line communications market. The company’s customers receive exactly the services they need for dynamic business development.
In summer 2010, Datagroup’s top management announced attraction of $40 million of investments into development of the company. The investor was Horizon Capital, an equity fund management company. In the coming years, Datagroup will cooperate with Horizon Capital in order to attract additional investment for the company in amount of up to $100 million.
Datagroup provided services to corporate customers. The range of the services makes it possible to solve any telecommunication task taking in account customers’ needs. Currently, the company is one the leader in terms of geography of communication services: Datagroup has 60 offices all over the country, and it provides the whole range of services in 40 cities of Ukraine.
For individual customers, Datagroup presented its retail trademark «Domashniy Telecom» in autumn 2010. Under this trademark, Internet and telephony services are provided. Now, Domashniy Telecom subscribers can connect to Internet via Ethernet, ADSL and radio technologies.
Datagroup is the leader in the segment of professional data transfer for corporate customers; according to the results of the 2011, the company’s share in the total income for the segment is 37 per cent. Further, the company is the leader in the VSAT satellite communication segment in Ukraine and the CIS, with the domestic market share of 71 per cent. Datagroup is the only operator in the country to have a special infrastructure (specially equipped cars, powerful mobile diesel generators, 24h duty maintenance crews) for provision of SLA (Service Level Agreement) services and outsourcing.
All this has become possible due to the professional team generally recognized at the telecommunication market, 12 years of operation experience, as well as powerful resources of the company. Datagroup has in its disposal an own fiber optic network in all regions of Ukraine with total length of 11 267 km, satellite transmitting stations, and intracity fiber optic networks stretching for over 5 866 km. Datagroup has its own dedicated number resource of 1 209 600 numbers, and a sales, distribution and maintenance network all over Ukraine.
Datagroup has 267 thousand subscribers, including 160 thousand telephone subscribers, approximately 107 thousand private Internet subscribers, and the others are corporate customers (if, for example, a network of bank branches is considered a single customer). Since 2011, «Domashniy Telecom » started to provide service to television. Today the company serves about 20 400 subscribers in the TV Dnipropetrovsk, Zhmerynka, Nikolaev, Gadyach, Bar.
