| About the BankRaiffeisen Bank Aval Public Joint Stock Company was registered on March 27, 1992 (operated under the brand name of Joint Stock Postal Pension Bank Aval until September 25, 2006). Since October 2005, the Bank has been part of the Raiffeisen International Bank Holding AG Group, Austria (since October 2010 — Raiffeisen Bank International AG, as of December 31, 2011 the Group held 96.37% of shares in the Bank). The Bank provides a broad range of standard and innovative banking services through its nationwide network which comprised, as of year-end 2011, 909 outlets located in big cities, provincial and community centers throughout Ukraine. The Bank has an effective management structure, based on a clear division into business lines and supporting verticals (information technologies, operation support, controlling, security and other) both in the Bank’s Head-office and 25 regional directorates. As a truly international bank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval clearly separates front-office functions from back-office ones to achieve higher quality of client service and enhance risk mitigation. Traditionally, Raiffeisen Bank Aval is ranked among top Ukrainian banks by trust and recognition of clients, partners and experts, both Ukrainian and international. In particular, The Euromoney financial magazine (UK) awarded Raiffeisen Bank Aval as Ukraine's Best Bank of 2011. This is not the first time that the Bank is so awarded. In compliance with the Correspondent magazine's Friendly Banks Rating, Raiffeisen Bank Aval was recognized as the best private financial institution of the country by general satisfaction with the bank. According to Ukraine-wide rating program Brand Guard 2011, Raiffeisen Bank Aval owns the most valuable brand among all banks in Ukraine. The Best Agrarian Bank rating was awarded by the Ukrainian Banking Awards 2011 program initiated and held by the financial and analytical weekly Investgazeta. The experts ranked Raiffeisen Bank Aval second in Bank for Entrepreneurs nomination. The retail deposits of Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the fifth year in a row were recognized as the best at Choice of the Year-2011 International Festival Contest. In addition, Raiffeisen Bank Aval was recognized as the winner in Bank of the Year with the Best Service Quality nomination. The bank's experience in wealthy client services was also appreciated as Raiffeisen Bank Aval received the award Best Private Banking for the second time by Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2011 project.
