Preliminary analysis of documents prior to initiating legal proceedings or preparing statement of defense; providing explanations on dispute resolution perspectives and time, developing the litigation strategy:

• Analyzing documents in relation to some or other transactions, invalidating decisions made by governmental agencies, collecting information required to prepare defense against the claims.
• Drafting legal opinions as per the case perspectives, providing explanations on judicial practices in similar cases.
• Developing the litigation strategy, including cases conducted simultaneously in different courts, submitting counter statements of claim, initiating clerical work in other public and governmental agencies.
• Searching for debtor’s (defendant’s) assets, verifying the counterparty’s financial standing, cooperation with receivers, liquidators, reorganization administrators.

Representing clients in courts of all (first, appellate and cassation) instances, of different competences (courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration tribunals, international arbitration) and of different jurisdictions (in Ukraine, CIS, EU, USA and other countries) and dealing with cases of different categories:

• Tax disputes:

   -    Challenging, in administrative or judicial manner, decisions imposing tax penalties, additionally charging tax liabilities, resolving controversies related to tax credits and budget refunding.

• Debt recovery:

     -    Legal representation in proceedings brought to recover indebtedness under supply, exchange, lease, joint venture, or loan agreements.

• Corporate disputes:

     -    Protecting rights of majority and minority investors and companies against hostile takeovers.
     -    Invalidating shareholders meeting minutes, other documents, foundation agreements (memorandums).
     -    Restoring rights of shareholders and allocating the participant’s shares upon his/her withdrawal from the company.
     -    Invalidating in a judicial procedure of agreements for sale of a share in the company’s authorized capital.

• Disputes related to protection of intellectual property rights.
• Foreign economic disputes.
• Labor disputes.
• Disputes related to protection of title or right to use.
• Disputes with governmental entities and local governments.
• Representing clients upon enforcing court decisions, recognizing and enforcing in Ukraine awards rendered by foreign arbitration tribunals:
• Recognizing and enforcing awards rendered by foreign arbitration tribunal in Ukraine.
• Controlling the enforcement of court decisions which came into legal effect.
• Recognizing decisions of Ukrainian and foreign courts abroad, including in the countries of complicated jurisdictions and facilitating their enforcement in full.
