Modern data terminals can be fitted with additional equipment – cash acceptors, printers, modems, complementary monitors etc

What is TouchScreen

As it follows from the name TouchScreen system provides a possibility of user interaction with device by contacting the screen. This principle allows deny the traditional means of information loading such as keyboard and mouse devices that in its turn allows application of these systems in public places and also facilitates the working process of unprepared people.

Mount-panel represents a TFT-monitor fitted with TouchScreen system packed in high-impact case and protected from the front side by break-resistant glass. The product is designed for outside producers' equipment, wall niches etc.

Infrared sensor screens

Technology used in our systems. Infrared technology is based on infrared light net breaking disposed in front of the screen.

The controller sends cascade impulses on light-emitting diodes to create a net of infrared light beams. When the stylus or the hand contacts the net the light signal interrupts. One or more phototransistors detect the impulse deficiency from the indicator and send the signal that determines X and Y coordinates.

Main features of infrared technology:

* the screen responds to any thing touching it

* anti-reflection covering

In comparison with other sensor systems (sensor screens based on acoustic surface waves, resistive sensor screens) infrared systems are more reliable, durable, less active mediums incurred and have the highest transparency coefficient. The characteristics set makes these systems more convenient as for public so for room installation.
