The year 2008 became a turning point for PRAVEX-BANK, as in late June, a deal was completed to sell a 100 percent interest in the Bank to one of Europe’s leading banking groups – Italy’s Intesa Sanpaolo. Intesa Sanpaolo is a leading international banking group in the Eurozone. It is also Italy’s business leader. Thanks to our new opportunities, higher risk management and technological standards, we now have a solid platform for a future breakthrough.

We are proud that we reached our main goal – working with triple reserve of power. This is a sure sign of reliability and stability for our Bank. •Stages of Development:

2009: September Authorized capital of PRAVEX-BANK increased by UAH 570 million at extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting.
2008: October In support of the initiative launched by the Italian Foreign Ministry, PRAVEX-BANK (a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group) sponsored the 8th Italian Language Week in Ukraine.; June 27 Intesa Sanpaolo and PRAVEX-BANK JSCB’s majority shareholders completed a deal, under which Intesa Sanpaolo purchased a 100% shareholding in PRAVEX-BANK JSCB in line with the terms and conditions of an agreement signed on February 4, 2008.; February PRAVEX-BANK’s shareholders announced that an agreement had been signed to sell the Bank to the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
2007: November According to the Ukrainian Interbank Payment Systems Association (EMA), PRAVEX-BANK ranked 7th in card issues among Ukrainian banks.; October PRAVEX-BANK was awarded the «500,000 Visa Cards» diploma by Visa CEMEA.; SeptemberA UAH 100m B-rated bond issue was registered.; According to research by TNS Ukraine, PRAVEX-BANK ranked among the top 5 banks for client satisfaction.; International rating agency Fitch assigned a «B» rating, Outlook Stable, to PRAVEX-BANK.; AugustConsumer lending increased threefold.; JulyThe Bank’s regulatory capital increased to UAH 656.3m.; PRAVEX-BANK JSCB’s corporate and retail loan portfolio exceeded UAH 3bn.; MayInternational rating agency Moody’s upgraded the Bank’s national scale rating (NSR) from Baa2.ua to A3.ua.; The Bank became a member of the international money transfer system UNIStream.; The Bank’s shareholders passed a resolution to increase its authorized capital by UAH 150.; The bank was audited by Deloitte&Touche.; April According to the Kyiv City State Administration, PRAVEX-BANK ranked among the TOP 100 largest taxpayers, which shows its strong commitment to transparency and corporate social responsibility.; PRAVEX-BANK raised a USD 30m direct international loan.; February PRAVEX-BANK signed an agreement with Ukrsotsbank and Ukrgasbank to create a shared ATM network and expand it to 1,100 ATMs.; PRAVEX-BANK distributed its entire debut UAH 50m bond issue ahead of schedule.; The Bank signed a contract with Shoelle-Munzhandel for the supply of commemorative coins from the world’s mints.
2006: OctoberThe Bank’s loan portfolio exceeded UAH 2bn.; The Bank’s regulatory capital was increased by UAH 13,130,000 and USD 2.6m through a subordinated debt.; MarchThe Bank introduced the international credit card «Universal».; FebruaryPRAVEX-BANK ranked among the three most popular banks in the rating «Top-100: Most Trusted Companies».
2005: DecemberAccording to the results of the survey «Banking Services As Seen By Consumers» done in January 2006 by the Municipal Press Association, the PRAVEX brand is the most recognized brand in the banking services market.; NovemberThe Bank signed an agreement for MoneyGram money transfers.; FebruaryPRAVEX-BANK received an award from the annual financial rating «The Bank Where You Would Deposit Your Money» published by the BUSINESS newspaper.
2004: DecemberThe Bank was awarded the honorary certificate «Corporate Security. Secure Internet Access».; JuneThe reputable business edition EUROWEEK described PRAVEX-BANK as one of Ukraine’s largest banks ranked by net assets.; MayThe EUROMONEY magazine recognized PRAVEX-BANK as «Ukraine’s Most Successful Developing Bank».
2003: DecemberThe Bank was awarded the honorary certificate «Best Corporate Project 2003».; The Bank was awarded the title «Ukraine’s Best Developing Bank» by EUROMONEY.; The Bank’s loan and investment portfolio exceeded UAH 1bn.; The Bank was awarded the honorary certificate «Most Long-Standing Client» by NCR, the world’s leader in processing solutions.; OctoberThe Bank received a principal acquiring license from Visa International.; AugustThe Bank received an acquiring license from American Express.; MarchThe Bank received a single license for engaging in professional activities in the securities market.
2002: AugustThe instant money transfer system Pravex-Telegraph was put into operation in Ukraine.; JuneThe Bank became Western Union’s direct authorized agent.
2001: DecemberThe Bank obtained license No. 7 for the right to handle banking transactions from the National Bank of Ukraine.; August The Internet-Client-Bank system was put into operation.; JuneThe Bank became a Principal Member of Visa International Association.
2000: DecemberThe Bank started issuing and distributing international dollar-denominated American Express cards.; NovemberAn internal payment system was developed and implemented in the Bank.; AugustThe Bank switched to the around-the-clock client service system «Client-Bank».; JulyThe Bank received the Best Domestic Bond House award from Euromoney Magazine as one of Ukraine’s best banks.
1999: NovemberThe Bank started handling transactions within the Western Union money transfer system.; The Bank started issuing Visa (Classic, Gold and Electron) cards with PRAVEX-BANK’s logo.
1998: NovemberThe Bank became an Associated Member of Visa International Association.; SeptemberFirst banking metals sale and purchase transactions were carried out in Ukraine.
1997: DecemberThe Bank started issuing Eurocard/MasterCard (Mass, Gold and Cirrus/Maestro) cards with PRAVEX-BANK’s logo.; SeptemberThe Bank became a full member of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (S.W.I.F.T.).; MayThe Bank became a member of Europay International Association.
1996: FebruaryThe Reuters-Dealing 2000 electronic communication system was put into operation.
1994: AugustThe «Client-Bank» software system was put into operation.; MayThe Bank started servicing Visa, Eurocard/MasterCard, Diners Club cards and Thomas Cook travelers’ checks.
1993: AprilThe Bank’s first outlets opened in the Kyiv region.
1992: December 29 PRAVEX-BANK JSCB was registered by the National Bank of Ukraine.
