Economy expert Oleksandr Zholud does not exclude that the memorandum of the International Monetary Fund on cooperation with Ukraine may be amended.
"But the very fact that, without beginning pension reform and balancing the Naftogaz budget, primarily due to higher tariffs for the population, it is not worth expecting the next installment," he added.
Nevertheless, the expert says, there is no urgent need to get a new tranche from the IMF.
According to him, "today the situation in the economy is more or less acceptable: there is economic growth, there is the demand for Ukrainian exports, growth of budget revenues." Therefore, the government does not need to receive an IMF tranche as soon as possible, he said.
