UHT is the pioneering provider of WiMAX technology in Ukraine. The company has been providing WiMAX-based wireless broadband access in Ukraine for more than four years.
2005 – official launch of WiMAX (IEEE 802.16d) network under the trademark of Alternet.
2008 – Alternet is deployed in Ukraine’s seven major cities – Kiev with its suburbs, Khrakiv, Dniepropetrovsk, Lviv, Odessa, Donetsk, Simferopol.
2009 – deployment and official launch of the FreshTel Mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e) network. The company becomes part of the transnational WiMAX holding along with providers in Russia, Ukraine and Italy.
