About Plant

The Krasnogorovka Plant was founded in 1899 by "Societe Franco-Russe de Krasnogorovka" as the plant producing quartz and silica refractory bricks, ceramic stonesand bottles. The fixed capital totalled to 3 million francs. The Board of the plant was based inAvinion, the meeting of share-holders was held in Paris. The numbers of workers at the plant at that time was 115.From the time of foundeation of the plant up to the present time the output of the plant has increased from 36 000 to 550 000 tons per year.

On 3, March 1994 the plant was transformed into a Joint-Stock Company "Krasnogorovka Refractory Plant".

Qualitative raw materials, modern techniques and equipment added to large production experience give the possibility to produce and supply refractories which quality and assortment satisfy the requirements of world standards.

Products with the trade-mark of Krasnogorovka Plant are supplied to more than 3000 consumers in the countries of CIS and far abroad. There have been made deliveries of products to Yugoslavia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Cuba, Egypt, India, Iran and others.

Lained productive experience and the arhievd results give the possibility for both the continious increase of product assortment range and the improvement of quality parameters.
