The Musical Instruments Chair

The Musical Instruments Chair is headed by Honours Teacher of Ukraine assistant prof.  V.F.Kucheruk. The study process is provided by 15 teachers, among them Dr. of Education Science A. M. Gordiychuk and G.B. Mandryk, Dr. of Art Science P.Y. Shymansky assistant prof. M. P. Stochanska. The scientific research subject of the chair is connected with Volynian musical culture. More than 200 editions are published in Ukraine and beyond its borders. The chair organized and conducted 3 scientific conferences, 2 all-Ukrainian specialized competitions. For the resent years 18 laureates and diplomats of international, 30 all-Ukrainian, 16 regional competitions and festivals were prepared. 32 competitors and their 15 teachers were rewarded with diplomas and messages of thanks of organizational committee, Ministry of Education and Science. Creative groups work at the chair; prize winners of international and all-Ukrainian competitions and festivals: male vocal quarter “Accord” (the leadership of assistant prof. A.M.Gordiychuk).

“Dyvo struny” / The Wonder Strings / (the leadership of assistant prof. M. P. Stochanska), folk instruments orchestra “Dzherela” (the leadership of assistant prof. V. F. Kucheruk); a company of violin players work fruitfully (the leadership of zh. A. Klymenko). The groups presented their creative programmes in Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany.
