The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Secretary General, professor Michael Chlenov has taken part in a working meeting of the Congress of Jewish Religious Organizations and Associations if Russia (CJROAR). The meeting took place in the Moscow Choral Synagogue.

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Secretary General, Professor Michael Chlenov took part in the work of tutors for the course ''Basics of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics,'' organized by the Federal Education Institute. Over 300 tutors hailing from different regions of the Russian Federation have gathered in Moscow for this study course. They will be preparing teachers to teach the six-module course dedicated to the four traditional religions of the Russian Federation (Orthodox Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddism), basic tenets of other world religions, and the basics of secular ethics.

On October 17, the round table ''Monitoring Manifestations of Racian and Ehtnic Hatred in the Ukrainian Sector of the World Wide Web'' and the presentation of the ''CYBERHATE in Ukraine: Monitoring Manifestations of Racian and Ehtnic Hatred in the Ukrainian Sector of the World Wide Web. Spreading Hate Speech and Calls to Intolerance (Hate Speech as Weapon of Political Right Rhetoric)'' took place in Kyiv as part of the ''No Limits!'' project of the Social Action Center.

On October 15, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) hosted a session of the Expert Council of the Black Sea Peacemaking Web, the topic of which was ''Nationalism in Ukraine.''

It is with deep sorrow that the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress must notify the community of the untimely passing of the head accountant of the EAJC Moscow office, Nikolai Vasilyevich Shpirko.

Representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) have taken part in the workshop conference “Prevention of violent conflicts and forming a culture of peace in multicultural societies,” which took place on October 6-9 in Crimea.

The EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels has taken part in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Jewish school in Chernivtsy, which was one of the first state schools with an ethnocultural component in the former Soviet Union.
