Application to DAAD for financing the “Studenten Praktikum” Programme was developed jointly with the university-partner in Germany and approved for realization in July 2010.

Target group: - students of the Faculty of Transport Technologies (Pryazovskyi State Technical University); - students of logistics at the Faculty of Business Engineering (University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt).

Aim of the project: to provide insights into professional-related areas and cultural environment of Germany and Ukraine.

Project activities were focused on combining up-to-date theory on the topic (Steel supply chains) with exemplary problems and solutions from the industry. Seminars on different aspects of steel logistics were coupled with visits to the factories. Cultural programme included excursions to the museums, musical concerts, national cooking experiences.
