Rules of reception on study of foreign citizens in the Kharkov state academy
of design and arts (KSADA)




1. On the first rate of the day time form of training in KSADA on a competitive basis and on interview foreign citizens and persons without citizenship which live in Ukraine on the lawful bases are accepted, have full average or average special education, art preparation in volume of knowledge and skills of art school, art liceum or art school - äåñÿòèëåòêè.

2. Preparation of foreigners and persons without citizenship is carried out according to the Law of Ukraine " About a legal status of foreigners and persons without citizenship ", Decisions of the Cabinet of Ukraine from 26.02.1993 ¹ 136 " About training of foreign citizens in Ukraine " (with changes) and from 05.08.1998 ¹ 1238 " About the statement of Regulations about reception of foreigners and persons without citizenship on study in higher educational institutions ", the Decree of the President of Ukraine from 25.03.1994 ¹ 112/94 " About measures on development of economic cooperation of areas of Ukraine with adjacent boundary areas of the Russian Federation ", from 03.06.1994 ¹ 271/94 " About measures on development of economic cooperation of areas of Ukraine with adjacent areas of Byelorussia and administrative and territorial units of Republic Moldova ". Foreigners to whom the state grants under the international contracts are given, to nation-wide programs, other international obligations of Ukraine, are enlisted on study on the basis of directions of the Ministry of Education and a science of Ukraine within the limits of volume of the state order. Persons from among foreigners who act in ÕÃÀÄÈ due to the State budget on target direction ÌÎÍ of Ukraine, can give the information(inquiry) on delivery of entrance examinations in friend ÂÍÇ of an art criticism direction. The foreign citizen can act in academy on the senior rate (magistracy) with the diploma about the previous education (bachelor) who has received in the country, under condition of obligatory preliminary it acknowledgement (confirmations) in The Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine, according to the order ¹ 563 0 from 20.08.2003.
Foreigners of the Ukrainian origin who have received a direction on study from the registered national - cultural societies at receipt in KSADA have the same rights, as citizens of Ukraine, including at receipt on study under the state order.

3. Foreigners and persons without citizenship carry out entrance examinations in the form of interview.
Transfer of foreign citizens will be carried out as follows:
In first half of July viewing creative works on painting, figure, compositions (it is not less 15-20 personal originals) in the developed(unwrapped) kind in a special folder, on specialization " Easel and a monumental sculpture " - photos or originals of creative works on a sculpture and figure will be carried out. In case of absence of works (or their insufficient professional level) and the complete set of the documents, acting to interview it is not supposed. By results of viewing creative works and interview there is a transfer of foreign citizens on 1-st rate on specialities, taking into account their wishes.
Transfer is carried out after signing the contract between the foreign citizen and KSADA, payments and an output of the appropriate order, and also at submission of the necessary complete set of documents agrees item 5 of Position " About reception of foreigners and persons without citizenship to study in higher educational institutions " from 05.08.1998 ¹ 1238:
    - the questionnaire of the established sample;
    - the original and a copy of the document on formation(education) and the estimations (points) received on subject matters;
    - the document on absence of the AIDS-INFECTION;
    - the medical certificate on a state of health, confirmed with body of health protection of the country from which the foreigner has arrived, and given not later than 2 months prior to entrance on study to Ukraine;
    - the original and a copy of the document on birth. The above-stated documents should be translated (if necessary) to Russian or the Ukrainian language and are certified at the notary.
    - the medical insurance on rendering emergency medical aid (except for foreigners who arrived from the countries with which contracts about free-of-charge granting emergency medical aid are signed);
    - 8 photos 3õ4 sm;
    - a return open ticket of homecoming for till 1 year (for students of 1 rate).
4. Transfer of foreign citizens on the senior rates is carried out by the order on KSADA by results of recommendations at protection of final work on assignment of an educational-qualifying level the bachelor, and also interviews and viewing of creative works, comparison of curricula and the further acknowledgement of documents on the education, received on the native land, at submission of all documents designated in item 3.

5. Foreign students are provided with a hostel at submission of the application by them and presence of empty seats.

6. Payment for study is carried out after signing the contract and makes the sum equivalent 4300 $ USA in national currency of Ukraine. The size of payment can change according to conditions of the contract.
