ANK Law Firm defended interests of HPC UKRAINA

In October 2010 the company Emes Feedering Sam (Monaco), which is the charterer of the m/v Renate Schulte, brought a suit against SC HPC UKRAINA, operator of the container terminal of Odessa Sea Commercial Port, on collecting damages caused as a result of damage to the shipboard crane of the m/v Renate Schulte, for the amount of more than Euro 335,000, to the Commercial Court of Odessa Region.

In the process of the court studying this case, the lawyers of ANK Law Firm persuaded judges that there were no legal grounds for satisfaction of the suit. As a result, according to court decisions of Commercial Court of Odessa Region dated 16 December 2010 and Odessa Appeal Commercial Court dated 17 March 2011 the suit was rejected in full.

The interests of SC HPC UKRAINA in this case were represented by ANK Law Firm’s team, which included senior lawyer Artyom Volkov and lawyer Dmitrii Kolodiazhnyi, as led by managing partner Alexander Kifak.
