Corporate Responsibility is a core element of our corporate strategy. Acting responsibly as a company means we treat our employees, the environment, the interests of society and the capital that has been entrusted to us in a manner that is respectful and sustainable. Only in this way can we be successful in the long term.

Our Corporate Responsibility Approach

Making a positive impact - globally and locally

Deutsche Post DHL is committed to making a lasting and positive change in the world by using its knowledge and global presence in ways that benefit people and the environment. We focus on three strategic areas of involvement - GoGreen, GoHelp and GoTeach - to live up our responsibility. We always encourage our employees to volunteer in corporate and local projects.
 

GoGreen: Protecting the environment

  • Optimizing the carbon efficiency of our network, fleet and buildings
  • Testing and introducing alternative drive technologies and renewable energies
  • Helping our customers reduce their carbon emissions by offering green solutions
 

GoHelp: Delivering help

  • Partnering with the United Nations in the effort to help people in need
  • Providings assistance in airport logistics free of charge with our Disaster Response Teams (DRT)
  • Providing trainings to local people to better prepare airports for the aftermath of a natural disaster (GARD)
 

GoTeach: Championing education

  • Partnership with Teach First Deutschland and Teach For All to open up access to education for underprivileged children
  • Partnership with SOS Children's Villages in several countries to support the development of young people for gaining better opportunities in life
  • Scholarship program UPstairs for children of employees
