Kyivstar and Beeline-Ukraine Consolidation — New Growth Opportunities

In October, 2010 the Ukrainian telecoms operators of Kyivstar and Beeline-Ukraine (Ukrainian Radio Systems CJSC and Golden Telecom LLC) started the process of consolidation. This is aimed at creation of new opportunities and better facilities for the subscribers of both networks, achievement of maximum operating efficiency of the consolidated company, as well as promotion of the telecommunications sector of Ukraine due to active development of broadband access services and introduction of convergent solutions for business.

The operator consolidation process is to be completed by the end of 2013. As a result, the telecoms market of Ukraine will obtain a new powerful player, namely: the multi-service operator number one in the mobile business, broadband access and digital media.

The consolidated company offers the clients voice communication and data transfer services based on the wide spectrum of techniques for wireless and fixed communications, as well as the broadband access to the internet under the brands Kyivstar djuice and Kyivstar Business.
