Description: The project is aimed to raise legal awareness of girls who study and life in orphanages of Vinnytsia region. Within the project it is planned to prepare a group of trainers of female students who are the organization’s volunteers and who will further conduct in target orphanages trainings on gender equality, counteracting violence and trafficking.

It is planned to unite active women of 8 villages, form initiative groups, educate them, develop social activism to strengthen influence on decisions and events that are organized in village and concern women’s interests. Educational program will cover issues of self-esteem, leadership, gender equality, counteracting violence as well as planning civil society activities taking into consideration community needs.

Owing to the project 125 organization’s activists will receive legal, methodological, theoretical and practical preparation on the issues of women’s SCOs sustainability; in future that will help, on one hand, make significant changes inside the organization and, on the other hand, involve more women to developing civil society.

Project title: Save Resources – Improve Town ’s Ecology!

Description: Within the project it is planned to create two sites with garbage containers for separate collection of solid domestic waste near pilot schools. Each site will have 3 containers: 1 for plastic and glass, second – for paper and third – for other solid waste. To change students’ consciousness, to form careful attitude and ensure their direct participation in sorting and separate collecting of solid domestic waste it is planned to conduct informational and educational campaign with participation of school students and teachers.

Project title: Improving the System of Social Services in Ternopil City

Description: The project activities include conducting research by “report cards” method concerning the quality of social services provided to inhabitants of Ternopil city by Ternopil Territorial Center of social services for pensioners, single incapacitated citizens. By the research results it is planned to develop and discuss during round table the proposals on improvement of structure and quality of social services provided to Ternopil inhabitants.

They often have depressions because of losing social liaisons that’s why the project efforts are directed at returning them to active life, filling their life with new forms and content, using their energy, knowledge and acquired experience for the benefit of community.

Project title: Informational and educational campaign aimed at protecting the rights of population of Horodok district in the sphere of providing social services

Description: Within the project it is planned: to study the problems of town and district inhabitants concerning social protection of population, and namely, the quality of providing communal and social services by state agencies of the district and the town; to organize meetings with governance representatives to establish dialogue between governance and community in the sphere of providing social services; organize meetings with active women in institutions and enterprises of different types of ownership; to develop a mutual plan of initiatives aimed at protecting rights and advocating interests of communities, receiving access to information about quality and pricing for services, providing legal assistance for protecting rights of consumers of communal and social services for inhabitants of district and town.

Project title: Creating the Civil Action Committee "Probudzhennya"

Description: Through activities of the newly created civil society organization "Self-Governed Community" it is planned to create the body of population self-organizing – the Civil Action Committee – aimed at implementing constitutional rights and freedoms of mini-district inhabitants to ensure life conditions, creative opportunities and abilities of territorial community members; organize separate Co-Ownership Housing Associations (COHA) in houses of municipal ownership and creating COHA Union; consolidate all forms of house servicing in a unified Gurt Housing Council, as economic and social structure, which will be a logical continuation of the project.

Project title: COHAis New Life Quality. Let’s Unite for the Sake of Future!

Description: The project is directed at creating first in the town Co-Ownership Housing Associations (COHA), whose activities are directed at solving social and domestic problems. For that within the project it is planned to consolidate efforts and possibilities of civil society organizations, town council deputies (18 districts), city council executive committee, active residents of housing complexes and mass media. It is planned to conduct information campaigns, education for representatives of housing complexes, to provide legal, consultative assistance on creating COHA, organize activities for creating COHA, which will improve the life of Dzhankoi community.

Project title: Creating Resource Center for Support and Development of COHA in Voznesensk area

Description: The project will start from informing community of Voznesensk area. Then two trainings will be conducted for 60 representatives of area communities, where COHAs were created; qualified specialists – lawyer and specialist in social protection – will provide consultations; 20 representatives of area communities will visit a successful organization with information center to acquire positive experience and launch a resource center at “Vohnyk ¹2” COHA Union; there the village inhabitants will have access to outside information and resources through internet.

Project title: Common Decision – Efficient Result

Description: The project is aimed at implementing measures of efficient energy use in the premises of feldsher-midwife station, where warmth is wasted because of leaking roof, unfitted windows and doors. Within the project it is supposed to replace and coldproof 100 m2 of roof, replace 5 windows and 1 door, which will create in the medical institutions comfortable conditions for providing medical services to population.

Project title: Creation and development of self-support group for young (under 18) mothers

Description: The project is aimed at creating a mutual support group for young mothers in Brovary town. Within the project it is supposed to carry out activities aimed at involving community (particularly, involving women’s organization "Women’s Community" and State Center of Services for Youth and Children in Brovary) in work of mutual support groups, in conducting weekly meetings of the group in the premises of "Life" Support Foundation, as well as individual psychologist’s consultations for the group participants. The project will result in increased number of female activists and developed system of community collaboration in work of young mothers.
