Our company processes and sells unique natural decoration stone in imitation walnut - sandstone. The stone (sandstone) we propose differs in fine grain, high frost-resistance and strength. Natural decorative sandstone is represented in different shapes and configurations. In general application of the sandstone is various.
To designer we provide opportunity to select any face texture of processed and unprocessed stone:
- Polished – light rough surface with the tracks of processing with abrasive tools. This can be paving blocks, paving slabs and facing bricks;
- Finished – glossy surface with high finish (facing and façade tiles);
- Cut stone – texture imitating natural stone chip with drop of relief up to 200 mm;
- Dotty - the surfaces with tracks of damage (indents) from blows with tooth ax (metal hammer used for stone processing);
- Sawn – rough plane with longitude grooves with the depth of up to 5 mm.
By its properties sandstone is softer than granite, its density is 1600-2700 kg/m3 and it doesn’t have radioactive background. Compared with limestone the sandstone doesn’t absorb moisture and has large frost-resistance. The tests prove the ability of the stone to endure 50 cycles of complete frosting and defrosting (F=50). This indicator makes indisputable the use of sandstone in our changing weather conditions. Low water absorption of 0.2% and porosity of 0.74% only confirms this: the higher the strength and the lower absorption, the more durable is the stone. The sandstone occupies the “golden mean” between limestone and granite – its coefficient of fragility is 0.19 and density is 2.68 gr/cm3.
Ultimate stress at compression of 122.2 mPa allows bearing pressure with the weight of 35 tons on the plate with the area 1 m2. Thousand-year effect of couplers under natural pressure determined abradability of the sandstone of 0.55 gr/ cm3.
