Foundation’s programs and projects

The Foundation works in four major areas: history and culture, medicine, social issues, and education.

The culture area (Ukraine Yesterday) is aimed at carrying out historical and ethnographic research, establishing connections between museums, popularizing Ukraine’s cultural and historical legacy globally:

  • Supporting book publishing and libraries
  • Supporting academic and folk traditions
  • With Book to Children program
  • Supporting Ukrainian cinema. Ukrainian Cinema Foundation


The medicine area (Ukraine Today) deals with mothers’ and children’s health protection issues, perfecting Ukraine’s network of patient care and rehabilitation facilities for children.

  • Dreams Come True project

The social area is aimed at studying the best international experience in this sphere, providing material, technical, and organizational support to various regional institutions and individuals; developing philanthropy in Ukraine.

  • Philanthropic Ukraine program: Philanthropist of the Year National Contest

The educational area (Ukraine Tomorrow) promotes forming in Ukraine a new, modern model of education and raising the young through organizing and conducting a broad public dialog; seeking for talented young people to involve them into public activities and stir up the Ukrainian social youth movement.
