ZIK, Zakhidna Informatsijna Korporatsija or Western Information Agency, is a media outlet providing comprehensive and impartial coverage of events in Ukraine’s western regions.

As an independent and non-partisan media structure, ZIK bases its work on openness, transparency, impartiality and balanced information policies.
Our main goal is to gather, analyse and disseminate all information which does not contradict the existing laws of Ukraine. The information we get from the executive bodies, political parties, NGOs, law enforcement agencies, cultural and educational institutions as well as from other sources helps us to tell you about what is going on in the western oblasts of Ukraine in political, economic, social, cultural, spiritual and other spheres.

In its activities, ZIK adheres to the four major principles of media work – operational efficiency, exclusiveness of information, focus on major events, and topical variability of reported materials. For us, it is important that you receive comprehensive and unbiased information.
