MEGABANK is the first Ukrainian bank which participated in the piloting project and introduction of the National system of mass electronic payments (NSMEP). At present in Ukraine there are more than 50 banking establishments which are a part of this system. The main goal of the bank is provision of the clients with the widest range of bank services. National system of mass electronic payments is: 

• Reliable – NSMEP is a state system controlled by the National Bank of Ukraine.
• Convenient – national plastic card is valid on the whole territory of Ukraine.
• Safe – the card is made according to the latest technologies and has a high protection level of the operations.
• Cheap – the cheapest payment chip card with a low commission for its service.
• Quick – payment operations are carried out in two modes: with direct connection with the bank and without it.

Plastic card NSMEP – is a plastic chip card of standard size with a built-in microcomputer, which saves the information in electronic form about the means of its owner. The card has two memory sections: check and purse. The purse enables you to make petty payments (daily purchases in shops, etc.). The check enables you to pay for more significant purchases (domestic goods, clothes), make payments for utilities, etc. 

Plastic card advantages:

• The money will not be lost if you lose your card as it may happen to an ordinary purse. Another person cannot use your card because it is protected by a special PIN-code, known only to the owner.
• While traveling on the territory of Ukraine it is safe if your money is on the card and not in your pockets. More than 50 banking establishments with subsidiaries on the whole territory of Ukraine make a part of the system NSMEP.
• When paying for the goods by plastic cards NSMEP you can be given discounts.
• It is advantageous and convenient for the NSMEP card owner to get salary, pension, subsidy, medical insurance and other social payments.
• Utility and energy bills can also be paid for by the card NSMEP at the payment reception departments of "Megabank", equipped with terminals.
• Increase of card account is carried out at any bank branch – member of NSMEP, avoiding current account.
• It is possible to get cash by plastic card at the centers of bank service or NSMEP ATMs on the whole territory of Ukraine.

Cash machines, bank terminals, terminals for the payment of goods and services

The information about the NSMEP terminal network of other banks can be received on the site of the Association of NSMEP participants.

The cost of the NSMEP plastic card is 35,00 UAH
(for pensioners, students and receivers of the monetary aid – Free of Charge).

For account balance of individuals the following interests are charged: card accounts – 5% per annum.

Interests, which are charged for pension account balance, and accounts of the recipients of social assistance for child care up to 3 years are:

• current accounts – 10,5% per annum;
• card accounts – 5% per annum.

For registration of the NSMEP card one should produce the following necessary documents to the bank (a copy of these documents can be done in the bank):

• The passport of a citizen of Ukraine (pages 1, 2 and 3-6, where the second photo at the age of 25 and 45 is to be, if it is necessary because of the age, and the page with address registration);
• Identification code.

The term of plastic card making is up to 7 days since the moment of order.
