‘Client-Bank’ software complex is created on the basis of software platform designed by ‘Lime Systems’ company.
Clients are served in ‘client-server’ mode. ‘Tiny Lite’ program is used as a client-end portion of application, that provides a client with possibility to receive information on account status in real-time.
‘Client-Bank’ program complex allows using of following work models:
1. Mode using single database.
2. Mode using several independent databases.
3. Mode using several databases subordinated to one main database − this scheme is also called ‘Master-Slave’.
-
processing is made on several databases, separated geographically from one another, which provides processing of the same account in mode of subordination of several databases to the main one. This scheme allows bookkeeper to make out payment documents, to place his digital signature and to send them to the bank from his workplace (for example, in Kiev). After that his superior officer from his own workplace (for example, being in Honolulu), contacts the bank, receives the documents sent by the bookkeeper and authorises them. Only after that documents are accepted by the bank for processing.
There are two ways to communicate with the bank:
1. Via modem dialling directly to the bank. For this purpose multiplex modem pool with 24-hour operation is provided.
2. Via provided Internet instruments.
‘Tiny Lite’ program implements system of digital signatures according to requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine. A client has an opportunity to create digital signatures and to set passwords for them independently. There is also a requirement that all the electronic signatures are provided on paper. This ensures security against unauthorized creation of digital signatures.
‘Client-Bank’ conducts daily dispatch of final statements in the word format in order to ensure data integrity.
