Payment cards

UkrGasBank entered payment card market in 2000. In February 2000 the Bank tapped the Ukrainian payment card market with its own payment system ‘Energia’ cards which allowed the Bank to implement salary and some other projects. On September 28, 2000 the Bank became a principal member of the Europay International Association and issued its own EuroCard/MasrerCard international payment cards. On May 2002 UkrGasBank enlarged its cooperation with international payment systems and issued Visa International payment cards. with the status of principal member of VISA International payment system. Currently Ukrgasbank as principal member of Master Card and VISA payment systems assures participation of 9 Ukrainian banks in MasterCard payment system and 8 banks – in VISA payment system. UkrCard system provides card holders with services in more than 1240 ATMs, POS-terminals and bank-partners.
