We are glad to inform You, that on 27 сентября 2008 года, it will be one yearsince Odessa Traffic Exchange Network - OD-IX - was established!
Administration of Odessa Traffic Exchange Network congratulates All participants of OD-IX with this significant date! We express our deep gratitude both to the providers who supported their subscribers and created conditions for fast usage of Odessa Network resources, and to their subscribers who contributed to development of Odessa Internet segment! We hope that next years of our cooperation will be the same profitable and the project will develop as actively as it did last year!
During this year OD-IX have passed all stages of establishing and have become a reliable node of interprovider exchange. Period of failure-free operation since the day of the official opening made up 99.99 %. Nevertheless, we constantly work and take all possible measures to enhance quality and reliability of the node. Quality level of the provided services have already been positively evaluated by more than 18 networks that took part in the exchange, including 11 provider-clients of Odessa Traffic Exchange Network.
Our enterprise not only provides technological access to the exchange network and performs constant monitoring of links quality and traffic validity, but in case of occurred problems, promptly informs network administrators what allows providers relieve themselves from some load in connection with network administration.
For now, total average daily exchange traffic amounts to 300 Mb/s, and at the top points it exceeds rate of 400 Mb/s every day. According to traffic volume, OD-IX takes the second place in Ukraine, after UA-IX!
Networks of three cities of Odessa, Illyichevsk и Yuzhnoye.
Today, participation of the provider in OD-IX gives another serious PLUS and advances its status at the market of the provided services. Providers’ customers appreciate their participation in OD-IX, this factor often becomes a decisive one while subscribing.

Volumes of the transferred information, and consequently requirements to productivity of Odessa interprovider traffic exchange node, have grown significantly for the last years. “Odessa Traffic Exchange Network” Limited Liability Company informs you that on 1 March 2008, an official opening of a node site for traffic exchange between providers in Odessa will be held. The site is situated at the address: 27/29, Tiraspolskaya Str., Odessa.
On OD-IX site there was installed a new equipment corresponding to all modern quality and reliability criteria, allowing meet latest requirements to the node productivity, and ensure quality of exchange alongside with constantly growing traffic volume.
At the present moment, almost all interprovider connections and exchange points are located at the territories of automatic telephone stations that belong to Ukrtelecom JSC. It never conformed to requirements of the latter as to interprovider connections on its sites.
Under these conditions,“OTEN” LLC is ready to provide You with possibility of fast organization of a reliable interprovider connection with other providers on the basis of OD-IX traffic exchange network. Traffic exchange is provided by BGPv4 protocol, by means of routing tables exchange between Your router and OD-IX router. OD-IX is ready to provide You with the following connecting ports: 100/1000Base-TX and 1000Base-X(SFP). The fundamental rule of OD-IX traffic exchange network is the fact that every participant must conduct routing, not selectively, but according to a routing table received from the rout server.
Moreover, if necessary, “OTEN” LLC provides possibility to establish route servers or any other extra equipment on its own site for interconnection with OD-IX. Approximately 10 Odessa providers use services of OD-IX in a testing mode, and their number is constantly growing. We offer you to use our special service of subscription to OD-IX, which is valid till the end of April 2008.
