ELEKS Software’s Medical Information System Wins “Most Innovative Product” Award at ITMED 2009 Conference

Lviv, Ukraine, – December 22, 2009 – ELEKS Software announces that its “Doctor Eleks” Medical Information System, has won “Most Innovative Product Award” at ITMED 2009, the 3rd International Forum on Innovative Technologies for Medicine. The conference took place in Bialystok, Poland on December 1-3, 2009.
The ITMED 2009 conference brought together close to 150 experts from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Sweden, representing both medical and technology professionals from various medical backgrounds, universities and software companies throughout Europe to share their experiences and best practices. Scientists and experts in the field of medical technologies discussed, presented and demonstrated innovative achievements, technological advancements and groundbreaking medical systems. During the forums three days, each attendee to the conference was asked to consider the most cutting-edge solutions in the medical technologies domain. At the conclusion of the conference, their votes were counted with “Doctor Eleks Medical Information System” winning the top honour – “Most Innovative Product Award”.

ELEKS Software Develops Web Portal for the Largest Ukrainian Media Holding

ELEKS Software, a global software services provider, announced the release of MyInternet portal (www.my-inet.eu). Developed for the largest Ukrainian media holding Glavred Media, the portal is expected to unite the largest number of users and become a leading Internet portal in Ukraine.
“We have had the official beta release of the portal since mid-September”, said Olena Firstova, the head of the Web Solutions Department for ELEKS Software. “From the moment it went live, we looked at the feedback from a wide cross-section of its users and incorporated that feedback into the current release.” She continued: “We are constantly expanding the number of services available on the portal. One of the recently added services is a tourist tour search. In the near future, users will enjoy even more business and educational services. Companies will be able to create their own profiles and the portal will support distance education.”

Customers of ELEKS Software Healthcare Solutions Can Move to Microsoft Windows 7 with Confidence

ELEKS Software, a global software services provider, announced today that “Doctor Eleks” – its Medical Information System, has passed Windows 7 logo testing and thus earns it the ‘Compatible with Windows 7’ logo.
“We were all waiting impatiently for the release of Microsoft Windows 7”, said Peter Konovalov, Business Director of ELEKS Software. “Our product development team carried out extensive internal testing to ensure the full compatibility of Doctor Eleks medical information system with both Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 platforms. We are happy that Doctor Eleks users can now enjoy the system on the Microsoft’s newest operating systems platforms.”

ELEKS Software Implements a New Customs System for the States of Jersey

Lviv, Ukraine – ELEKS Software Ltd., a Ukrainian IT services and product company, announced that, in collaboration with its strategic alliance partner teleologica ltd, it has supplied a Customs system (CAESAR II) to Jersey, a self governing British Crown Dependency. ELEKS Software took part in the ‘E-Government Day 2009’conference, which was held in Kyiv, Ukraine on May 14, 2009. The conference was organized by the National Academy of Public Administration under the Office of the President of Ukraine (NAPA) under the auspices of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine and State Informatization Committee of Ukraine. The basic purpose of the conference was to promote popularization of e-government idea and e-democracy among Ukrainian state authorities and local self-government and to demonstrate native and foreign experience in best usage of these issues.
