Dennis V. Turovets

Dennis Turovets is a Managing Partner of the Minsk Office of Magisters.
He has extensive experience in real estate and construction, mergers and acquisitions, privatization, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and tax law.
Before merger with Magisters in December 2008, Dennis was Managing Partner of BelJurBureau Law Firm (Belarus). Prior to establishment of BelJurBureau, Mr. Turovets carried out his legal practice at Vlasova and Partners Law Firm (Belarus).
During his work in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, Dennis participated in several high-profile projects. He represented interests of foreign investors in the case between McDonald's and the Belarus State University; advised Baltika Brewing Company in the settlement of dispute with Krinitsa Brewery (Belarus); represented the Ukrainian vendor and the Byelorussian importer in the first and, for the time being, the only one antidumping investigation in the territory of the Republic of Belarus; and acts as a permanent advisor for the international perfume and cosmetic company regarding various aspects of the company operation since its entering into the Byelorussian market. Moreover, Mr. Turovets has extensive counseling expertise in registration and protection of intellectual property rights in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, including the advocating in court.
