The Chamber continues to work together with Adam Smith Conferences and supporting their numerous successful events both inside and outside of Ukraine. Among the most recent initiatives supported by the Chamber in 2009 was the Crisis Management in Ukraine Forum “Strategies for Effective Corporate Leadership in Turbulent Times” in February, Ukrainian Investment Summit, held in London in March and Kyiv’s Agribusiness Congress in April with the Chamber President, Jorge Zukoski, both speaking and moderating panels during all three events.

The Agribusiness Congress was an intensive two-day event, which covered key areas for growth in the sector. During the Congress delegates analyzed the risks and challenges facing the Ukrainian agrarian sector, discussed the most promising directions, legislative regulations and the latest initiatives, as well as the issues related to financing of agrarian projects and companies, capitalization increases, growth strategies, production efficiencies, and many others.

The distinguished panel of Speakers included two American Chamber of Commerce Board Members, Dr. George Logush, Managing Director of Kraft Foods Ukraina and Andrzej Rozycki, Country Manager of Cargill Ukraine.
