PRAVEX-BANK has the long-time experience in working with payment cards of the principal international payment systems and at present has the 7-th place in Ukraine by payment cards issuing volumes.
Full-fledged payment card business was developed in several stages:
- 2008
- December
- PRAVEX-BANK has carried out the project on the implementation of the new card product of the MasterCard international payment system— MasterCard Unembossed. Within the said product the bank has initiated the Instant Card Issuance project.
- November PRAVEX-BANK had initiated the bid on the bank audit for compliance with PCI DSS standard — payment cards industry information security standard.
- JulyPRAVEX-BANK jointly with Kyiv Metropolitan Communal Enterprise has signed the agreement on cooperation within the framework of co-branding cards issuance project for the cards that are payment, credit, and can be used as travel cards.
- 2007
- December
- PRAVEX-BANK together with KLO fuel station network had entered into cooperation agreement within the framework of the acquiring project on all the network of KLO fuel stations and Podorozhnik supermarkets located on the territory of fuel stations.
- PRAVEX-BANK jointly with TURTESS TRAVEL LLC had entered into cooperation agreement within the framework of the co-branding project.
- September-DecemberUniting of the bank ATM network with the ATM networks of JSCB «Ukrsotsbank», OJSC JSB «Ukrgazbank», OJSC Bank «Finance and Credit», JSCIB «Ukrsibbank». Total number of the united network ATMs as for 01.01.08 is 3 181.
- OctoberPRAVEX-BANK had implemented the co-branding project jointly with Kia Motors Ukraine LLC.
- SeptemberEnhanced the choice of electronic vouchers which can be purchased through the Bank ATM network.
- MayThe service "Money transfer from card onto card through the ATM" is implemented in PRAVEX-BANK ATM system.
- MarchPRAVEX-BANK had implemented the co-branding project jointly with Mir Elektroniki CJSC.
- FebruaryInitiated the project on the uniting ATM networks of PRAVEX-BANK and JSCB UKRSOTSBANK and OJSC JSC Ukrgazbank. Total number of the united network ATMs as for 01.03.07 is 1 300.
- 2006
- NovemberChip certification by acquiring in MasterCard Incorporated payment system is carried out.
- The issue of the new payment card "Rassrochka" ("Payment by installments") is implemented.
- SeptemberPRAVEX-BANK had issued its first one million card.
- An additional service was implemented allowing the clients the possibility to make settlements in the Internet on the bank site for housing and other settlements.
- AugustThe holders of PRAVEX-BANK payment cards received the possibility to make settlements on the bank site for housing and other settlements.
- The issue of new payment card "Universalnaya" was implemented.
- JuneThe issue of Visa Classic Unembossed instant non-personalized payment cards was initiated.
- 2005
- DecemberVisa Classic chip payment cards issue was certificated.
- ATM acquiring of the Visa chip payment cards was certified.
- NovemberThe issue of the following instant products was certified: Visa Electron Instant Issue, Visa Business Electron Instant Issue.
- OctoberNew services on overdraft loan providing were implemented - «Second pension» (for pension payment card holders) and «Credit on the deposit pledge» (for deposit payment cards holding).
- The trade acquiring of the Visa chip payment cards was certified.
- SeptemberVisa Electron chip cards issue was certified.
- The functionality of ATMs was enhanced, due to which the clients can purchase electronic vouchers of different mobile connection operators.
- JulyThe issue of Visa Business Silver, Visa Business Gold cards for corporate clients was initiated, as well as elite Visa Platinum card issue.
- JuneA loyalty program was implemented jointly with the world renowned Hertz car rental company.
- 2004
- NovemberWas commenced the issue of the first Visa multicurrency cards in Ukraine in three currencies - UAH, USD, EUR.
- OctoberWas commenced the issue of Visa Prepaid, Maestro Prepaid instant cards as well as Visa Virtuon Internet settlements card.
- SeptemberThe overdraft credit program for salary cards holders was implemented.
- Was commenced the issue of the following cards: Visa Business Electron, MasterCard Business, MasterCard Electronic Business.
- AugustThe issue of Visa cards in EUR was commenced.
- 2003
- DecemberThe bank was granted "The Most Loyal Customer" honourable certificate from the renowned world technological solutions leader, NCR company.
- OctoberThe bank was granted the right to act as acquirer for Visa International payment systems settlements.
- AugustThe bank was granted the right to act as acquirer for American Express payment systems settlements.
- AprilWas commenced the distribution of the elite American Express payment cards in EUR.
- 2001
- JuneThe bank had become a principal member of Visa International Association.
- 2000
- DecemberWas commenced the distribution of the elite American Express payment cards in USD
- 1999
- NovemberThe bank commenced the issue of payment cards Visa (Classic, Gold and Electron) under its logo.
- The bank had become a principal member of MasterCard Incorporated.
- 1998
- NovemberThe bank had become an Associate member of Visa International Association.
- 1997
- Decemberthe bank commenced the issue of cards EuroCard/MasterCard (Standard, Gold and Cirrus/Maestro) under its logo.
- MayThe bank had become an Associate member of the international payment system Europay International Association (received issue and acquiring license).
- 1994
- Maythe bank commenced servicing the cards Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard, Diners Club and Thomas Cook travel cheques.
