The club was founded on January, 5, 1955 ("Kolgospnyk"); the Masters’ Team – from January, 1957; professional football club – from February, 1989.
Names: "Kolgospnyk" (1955-1964), "Kolos" (1965-67, 73-82), "Selstroj" (1968), "Stroitel’" (1969-1972), "Vorskla" (1984 - 2003), "Vorskla-neftegaz" (2003 - 2005), "Vorskla".
Colors: white-green.
Stadium: "Vorskla" (25 000 seats), field sizes: 104x68 meters, illumination: 1200 lux.
Achievements:
Owner of the Cup of Ukraine (1956);
Winner of Ukraine First League Championship (1995/96);
Bronze prize winner of the Ukraine Major League Championship (1996/97);
Participant in European Championships:
The Cup of UEFA 1996/97 (second qualifying round); 1999/2000 (first qualifying round);
The Cup of Intertoto 1997/98, (third qualifying round).
Owner of the Cup of Ukraine (2009).
