Become the rightful reader of the library
YOUR RIGHTS:
You can become the reader of our library:
● If you are the citizen of Ukraine, or the citizen of any country of the world with the name in the range of letters from "A" to "Z"
● If you represent any legal person – you will be treated on the basis of contracts.
You have the right to work in reading rooms, to check out books, to order necessary books necessary by interlibrary lending, to use the Internet resources
OUR RULES:
RULE ¹1. Not to pass by the reader registration department
Here:
● To give data on for the library database
● To pay for the Reader’s Identification Card- Not to forget to take it with oneself
YOU ARE ALREADY OUR READER!
Reader’s Identification Card in our library can be:
- Constants ID Cards
Such ID Card will always serve you and will cost 13 hrn.
If you belong to a preferential category you receive the ticket free of charge.
- Single ID Cards
Such ID will allow you to visit library once and will cost 1 hrn.
If you HAVE LOST the Reader’s Identification Card - you have the right to receive a duplicate at once after writing of the application on the duplicate and full payment for the lost one
RULE ¹2. To visit departments of library
Here you have the right:
● to smile to our employees
● to receive the information on any branch of knowledge
● to read in any language any editions in any reading room
● to read any edition ordered for you via service ILL (if those are not in the book collection of our library)
And also:
● To search for books on shelves of the open access
● To order books from the stacks for work in the reading rooms
● To check out books from circulating collection
You also have the right to copy the information necessary for you.
However remember, that authors of books whom you copy, have the right to sue you if you do not observe item 22 and 23 in the Law of Ukraine «About the copyright and the adjacent rights» 20.11.2003 ¹ 1294-4
RULE ¹3. To observe rules of work on computers of the library
With that you:
● provide trouble-free work of our computer network,
● prolong the service life of our computer equipment
While using electronic information resources of the library, including the Internet, you have the right:
● To have the constant Reader’s Identification Card
● To search for the information independently
● To expect the help of the adviser
● To have a priority in service if you represent national or world science
● To keep on the CD or to print the necessary information
● To remember about item 22 and 23 in the Law of Ukraine «About the copyright and the adjacent rights» 20.11.2003 # 1294-4
RULE ¹4. Rule of mutual respect
You will help us to provide the comfortable service for you if:
● Inform us true data about yourself
● Will not give your ID Card to other people
● Will help us to save the book collection of the library for the future generations
● Will use your portable personal computer only till the battery is discharged
● To leave big bags and other large-sized things in the cloak-room
● Will switch off your mobile phone in the library, that will ensure the quiet environment
● Will adhere to the given rules
We promise to you:
● To provide comfort in the reading rooms of our library
● To give an opportunity to use our resources free of charge
● To order for you the necessary editions in other libraries, if we don’t have them
● To help you to find the necessary information in our catalogues (traditional and electronic)
● To give you the additional paid services according to the decree of the Ukrainian legislation
You also have the exclusive right to read the full version of instructions for the library services, certified by the library administration.
