The EU-funded Project “Support to the Development of Business Capacity of Ukrainian SMEs – International Dimension” is implemented by a WYG International (UK) led consortium in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv oblasts.
Project main partner: State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship.
The first inward mission for machinery & equipment companies - International Investment & Business Forum for Machinery & Equipment Industry will be organised on 1 April 2009 during the INTERTOOL Trade Fair (31 March – 3 April 2009) – an international exhibition for hardware, tools and equipment.
Press-briefing for mass media is planned from 10:30 to 11.30. Key speakers proposed: Mrs. Svitlana Svyshcheva, Deputy Head of the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship; Mr. Grigorios Kontzoglou, Project Manager Economic Development and Innovative Policy, Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine; Mr. Ken Nachbar, the EU Project Team Leader.
The Forum will take place at the Conference Room of the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv, 15 Brovarsky Prospect, Metro “Livoberezhna”, from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm.
The forum programme includes presentations on prospects for business co-operation between foreign companies and companies from Kharkiv oblast, to be presented by Ukrainian and international experts. The forum participants will also have an opportunity to meet and discuss co-operation proposals presented by the project beneficiaries – machinery & equipment SMEs from Kharkiv oblast.
