Ukraine not given proposals by United States on deployment of anti-ballistic missile systems

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has announced that Ukraine had not received any proposals from the United States concerning the deployment of anti-ballistic missile systems on the territory of Ukraine under a new location scheme in Europe.

Yuschenko said this to journalists in Chisinau on Friday.

"I hope there will be no speculation about this. The Ukrainian side has not received any proposals," Yuschenko said.
