Yuschenko, Obama could meet at session of UN General Assembly

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko could meet with U.S. President Barack Obama during Yuschenko's visit to New York to attend the 64th session of the UN General Assembly, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The possibility of a meeting between Obama and Yuschenko as part of the Ukrainian president's participation in the 64th session of the UN General assembly is being considered," the ministry said.

The opening of the session is scheduled for September 15.
