At the forefront of democracy-building in Ukraine since 1994, the International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) is a leading independent Ukrainian think-tank. Established as an initiative of the Open Society Institute, ICPS strives to contribute to the implementation of a robust framework for the country’s economic, social and foreign policies in line with emerging European realities.

As the higher governing body of ICPS, the Supervisory Board is in charge of making decisions regarding the ICPS strategy and of evaluating the Centre's performance. It had members, including high-level officials in the Ukrainian government and representatives of other governmental and non-governmental institutions.

ICPS welcomes young professionals to hone their skills by interning at the Centre. Successful applicants will complete a rigorous selection process before being invited to work at Ukraine’s top non-government think-tank. ICPS interns will be guided by top professionals in fields ranging from international politics and government policy development to economic theory and consumer behaviour.

In 1994, ICPS was created in response to a unique challenge: to provide support to a fledgling Ukrainian state lacking its own analytical capacity. Its response to that and others challenges remains the driving force behind the Centre’s efforts up to the present day.
