13.11.2009 | CAMBRIDGE COLLEGES HOSPITALITY SCHEME
Cambridge university, in conjunction with the Open Society Institute, invite applications from scholars from selected countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, including Ukraine, who wish to work in the universities' libraries or to contact academic specialists in their subjects. At Cambridge the programme offers one-month visits in one of the Cambridge colleges during the summer months (July-September). The next session of the English Speaking Club - Osvita will take place on November 19, 2009 at 6.30 pm in the format of Chat'n'Go. Be prepared to talk on most various topics with everyone present in small groups.
Please keep in mind the venue: as the City Library will be closed until November 23, this session will take place at Osvita office, 60 Karl Marx Ave., suite 78.
Everyone is welcome, but we can host only 15 people at a time, so please register in advance by sending an email to club@center-osvita.org.ua. See you on Thursday!

Информация о Центре
Our Center is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization. It serves as a resource and advising center that provides informational and advising assistance to persons and organizations regarding opportunities to study abroad (with emphasis on the USA). Situated in one of the biggest industrial and business centers of Ukraine - Dnipropetrovsk, "Osvita" Center strives to comprehensively assist in establishing and strengthening international academic contacts of the region in order to ensure its overall development and scientific potential.
Objectives
Disseminating information on the educational programs and progressive trends in education;
Assisting in training specialists for Ukraine through providing informational and advising services on educational opportunities to all interested individuals;
Fostering preservation, revival and development of contemporary Ukrainian education and culture through international integration.
History
Dnipropetrovsk Educational Information and Advising Center "Osvita" was established in 1994 as a body affiliated with International Renaissance Foundation. Center obtained official status of the city public organization (NGO) in March 1999. It operates now as an independent and non-for-profit institution.
