While abroad

Switch on your mobile phone. Your handset may automatically select a network or you may choose a network manually, using your phone's search menu. Before leaving refer to the Users Guide of your handset.

After searching your phone will display the code of the local operator, which will provide you with communications, when you are roaming. Each time you should dial the phone number in international format even if it is a local call:

For GSM subscribers

Dial: + < country code > < area/network code > < phone number >.

Example, to make a call to Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, dial:
+ 380 612 ÕÕ ÕÕ ÕÕ , where:

• + code used in GSM mobile phones to change the international access code from any country worldwide;
• 380 - international country code of Ukraine;
• 612 - city code of Zaporizhzhya;
• XX XX XX - phone number of subscriber.
