The service of financially technical supply of the Southern railway (further Service) is separate structural division of the Southern railway (further the Railway) and belongs to the nation-wide property.

The structure of Service of logistics includes structural divisions:
• The Kharkov regional department of logistics with subordinates to it warehouses at stations Merefa and Lozovaya;
• The Poltava regional department of logistics with subordinates to it warehouses at stations Grebyonka and Kremenchug;
• Kupyansk regional subitem of logistics with the subordinate to it warehouses at station Rad'kovskie Peski;
• Sumy regional subitem of logistics with subordinates to it warehouses at stations Smorodino and Lyubotin.

The service is created with the purpose of the organization of logistics of the Southern railway, realization of a uniform technical policy, economic regulation of economic activities.

Subject of activity of service is maintenance of structural divisions of the Railway with spare parts, machines, mechanisms, overalls, special footwear, uniform, oxygen of own manufacture and other products according to the established nomenclature, development of iianiaii-auxiliary activity, output of own manufacture and the given services to the population and the extraneous organizations in the order established by the legislation.

Primary goals of Service are:
• The conclusion of contracts by proxy the chief of the Railway on supply of the Railway by materials, equipment, spare parts and other products and their full realization;
• Realization of actions for reduction of expenses by financially technical maintenance;
• Realization of wholesale and retail trading and intermediary activity (including combustive-lubricating materials), performance of works, granting of services (motor transportation, cargo handling, services in storage and others, not forbidden by the current legislation), directed on increase of profitableness of Service and the Railway in general, performance of the accepted economic both social tasks and other.

The service in the activity is guided by the Constitution and Laws of Ukraine " About transport ", " About a railway transportation " and other current legislations, the Charter of Railways of Ukraine, statutory acts of the Ministry of transport of Ukraine, Ukrainian Railways, the Southern railway, and also " Regulations about to service MTP ".
