Hanover, Germany / Mar 28, 2006
SoftServe, as one of the leading software development companies
in Eastern Europe, took part in the biggest IT trade show in
Europe, CeBIT’2006. SoftServe has attended CeBIT three times
successively, but this year for the first time we have represented
our services on outsourcing software development, maintenance and
support at the collective Ukrainian stand. Together with SoftServe
at the national stand there were also representatives of three
Ukrainian ministries (the Ministry of Transport and Communication,
the Ministry of Industrial Policy, the Ministry of Education and
Science), representatives of the National academy of sciences of
Ukraine, and members of "IT Ukraine" association. The
Ukrainian stand was located in Hall 8, dedicated to IT-outsourcing.
By the way, IT outsourcing services and the IT Outsourcing
Solutions Forum were presented for the first time as a stand-alone
display category at CeBIT’2006, showing the growing interest
in IT outsourcing in the world’s business community.
President of SoftServe, Taras Kytsmey, delivered a speech at IT
Outsourcing Solution Forum. Organized by German association
BITKOM, the Forum was dedicated to cooperation in the area of
information technologies.
RE3W application, the one of the most successful projects of
SoftServe, was presented by Taras Kytsmey. This project has been
highly estimated by Microsoft TOP managers (Bill Gates and Ray
Ozzie) during the last year presentation of internet-version of
Windows Live and Office Live. Also RE3W is the first project using
Bird’s Eye technology (a part of MSN Virtual Earth), as well
as SoftServe is the first company integrating Bird’s Eye and
presenting industrial system with real application which really
benefits, in particular real estate business.
The President of SoftServe has noted that by the results of
Outsourcing Forum and CeBIT’2006, it is possible to affirm,
that the interest of European companies to Ukrainian IT-market
increases every year. "Europe is an ideal market for Ukrainian
outsourcing companies, and Ukraine has sufficient experience in IT
outsourcing, our cooperation is also promoted by geopolitical
position and both close cultural and economic traditions. Therefore
I am convinced, that in the near future the share of orders from
European companies will increase at SoftServe", says Taras
Kytsmey.
