HISTORY

The Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine was created in September, 1995, as main musical collective of the Lysenko Concert Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. This Hall counts above centenary tradition, has unique architecture and acoustics and is one of prestige in Europe.

Leonid Tykhonov was the first conductor of the Orchestra. In 1996, young gifted conductor Mykola Dyadura headed the orchestra.
