The Bank was registered with the NBU in 1993 and its current banking license was re-issued on 3 December 2001. The Bank is entitled to conduct different types of banking operations on the basis of its license, as well as to conduct the operations specified in the written permit issued by the NBU, which was renewed on 31 July 2008. In particular, the Bank is entitled to carry out:
1. Operations/transactions with currency values:
- noncommercial operations/transactions with currency values,
- management of accounts of the customers (residents and non-residents) in foreign currency, and accounts of customers-nonresidents in the national currency of Ukraine;
- management of correspondent accounts of the banks (residents and non-residents) in foreign currency;
- management of correspondent accounts of the banks (non-residents) in the national currency of Ukraine;
- opening of correspondent accounts with the authorized banks of Ukraine in foreign currency and operations/transactions with/on such accounts;
- opening of correspondent accounts with the banks (non-residents) in foreign currency and operations/transactions with/on such accounts;
- obtaining and placement of foreign currency on foreign exchange market of Ukraine;
- obtaining and placement of foreign currency on the international markets;
- operations/transactions with precious metals on foreign exchange market of Ukraine;
- other operations/transactions with currency values on the international markets.
2. Issue of own securities.
3. Organization of purchase and sale of securities on the instructions of customers.
4. Operations/transactions on securities market on the BankÒs own behalf (including underwriting).
5. Investments in the authorized funds and shares of other legal entities.
6. Transportation of currency values and encashment of funds
7. Operations/transactions on the instructions of customers or on the BankÒs own behalf:
- with money market instruments;
- with instruments, which are based on exchange rates and interests;
- with financial futures and options.
8. Trusteeship of assets/funds and securities under agreements with legal entities and natural persons.
9. Depositary activity of a securities depositary.
The Bank holds a license issued by the State Securities and Stock Market Commission which allows the Bank to conduct specific professional activities on the Ukrainian securities markets, including activities related to the issuance and trading of securities in the securities markets and the provision of custodial services.
