Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has faith in the good future of the Ukrainian chemical industry on the world markets for its innovative chemical products and other achievements of the national chemical companies.

Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the department for mass media of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the wording of which was made available to the agency.

"I have faith in one day to come when the whole world sees advantages of the produce of the Ukrainian chemical industry," the department quoted the letter congratulation from Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to workers of the chemical industry on the occasion of their professional holiday.

Tymoshenko notes that the chemical industry of Ukraine facilitates the development of the industry, the farming sector of the country, the national health care sector, companies producing home appliances. The chemical industry also helps improve the quality of life.

According to the Ukrainian prime minister, the workers of the chemical industry do their best in the times of the world economic crisis to secure further development of the industry. Their efforts, in the opinion of Tymoshenko, will become a good example in meeting the challenges of the consequences of the crisis.

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko thanked the workers of the chemical industry for their high professional skills, persistent labor. She also wished them good health, all family comfort and new professional achievements.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine observes the Day of Chemical Industry Workers each year on the last Sunday of May.
