2.  I have purchased AeroSvit Airlines' air ticket from a travel agent. Can I make an online check of the details of my booking?

You can definitely make an online check of your booking made at any of AeroSvit Airlines' offices or through Internet online booking. You can also check up any booking made by travel agents, but only in case it was processed through Amadeus reservation system. In order to make such a check, please kindly proceed to the home page and fill in “Reservation number” and “Last name” fields in the “Check my trip” section. For any special assistance, please give a call to your travel agent or to AeroSvit Airlines' sales office.

3.  How do I get details on your air fares from your website?

You can find details on AeroSvit Airlines' air fares either through our online booking system (even if you do not wish to make an immediate booking) or at  Promotional Offers  page.

5.  Why do AeroSvit Airlines' sales offices and my travel agent give me a different pricing for a ticket on the same flight?

You see, it is a common practice in aviation industry that on certain occasions airlines do offer to travel agents special prices for air carriage for them to be incorporated into travel packages known as "inclusive tour", that usually include return air carriage, hotel accommodation, transfer from airport to hotel, sightseeing trips and the like. This is indeed the reason why the fare quoted by your travel agent may not necessarily coincide with the one directly offered by an airline.

6.  What payment options do you offer?

When you pick up your ticket at any of AeroSvit Airlines' sales offices, you will be prompted to choose from paying either in cash or by your credit card. To make sure that your credit card is being accepted by your local AeroSvit Airlines' office, please click here .  When you book your trip by online you have to pay by credit card.

7.  What are "Airport Taxes"?

Certain airports are charging a so-called "departure tax" that should be paid by every departing passenger directly. All other taxes and fees are already included in the fare you've paid for your air ticket. Should you require any further information on this subject, please contact your local AeroSvit Airlines' office .

Some states do require an entry or transit visa to be issued prior to your trip. You are welcome to browse our  "Visa Requirements" section that contains most of the information you might need. For any additional information or further details or inquiries, please get in touch with the consular section of the embassy of the state you intend to visit or with your travel agent.

10.  My passport is expiring soon. Is it still possible for me to take a trip?

It is very important that you make sure that your passport remains valid for the whole duration of your trip. Moreover, embassies of some states may require that your passport remains valid for a certain period of time. Please kindly check the details with the embassy of the state to which you will be travelling.

11.  Do I need to purchase any insurance for my trip?

Our advice is to obtain an insurance coverage for any trip abroad that you make. Moreover, it might be a precondition for issuing a visa at embassies of certain states. Please kindly clarify this issue with the consular section of the embassy of the state you intend to visit. Please note that advance vaccination might also be either recommended or legally required in some cases, depending on your destination and/or routing. Please obtain a consultation from your doctor.

13. Am I still earning frequent flyer reward points while taking a joint flight with AeroSvit Airlines' code-sharing partner airline?

All of our passengers with valid membership in our "Meridian" frequent flyer program are earning points on every AeroSvit Airlines' scheduled flight provided that its number begins with "VV", whether it is operated by AeroSvit Airlines or by our code-share partner airline. However, you should notice that you are entitled to claim your reward points only from those flights operated by AeroSvit Airlines directly.

Of course, it is possible. You may order such type of meal that suits you best either whilst you make your booking or at the time the ticket is being issued, but in no case later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of your plane. An extensive range of special meals is provided to suit your particular dietary or religious requirements.

18.  Is it possible for a minor to take AeroSvit Airlines' without being accompanied? 

Children over 5 years old may travel on AeroSvit Airlines' flights without necessarily being accompanied. Our dedicated and well-trained staff will assist your child in checking-in and will take further care of him or her on board an aircraft, accompanying him or her after landing. For further information, please kindly  contact your local AeroSvit Airlines' office . Please kindly note that any child discounts are not applicable for minors traveling unaccompanied.

19.  May I use my laptop or mobile on board your aircraft?

Laptop computers, computer games and cassette recorders can be used during the flight. However, they must not be used during take-off and landing. Mobile phones are forbidden to use during the whole flight.  For more details see here.

21.  Can my pet travel in the cabin along with me?

The rules for travelling with your pet can vary depending on pet's size, species and weight, they also depend on the destination point and transfer airlines rules, if applicable. As a rule live animals are not allowed to travel in the cabin of  an aircraft if their total weight together with container exceed 5 kg. They can be transported as checked baggage and carried in the luggage aircraft hold (normal excess baggage rates apply) or they can be transported as cargo (cargo rates apply). 22. Where can I find any information on getting to the airport or connections between the airport and the city?

To get information about the route, available time, estimated price, time needed for transportation from the city to the departure airport simply click on “Getting to the Airport” and choose the city in the appropriate box. Should you need any information about connection between the airport and the city, go to Flight Info and choose your flight on “flight info” section. 23.   What should I do if I lost my ticket?

Should this happen, please contact our reservations office or your travel agent immediately. Depending on your situation, lost ticket may be replaced with a duplicate. Note that certain fee will be charged for this service.
