The Ukrainian Professional Bank acts on the basis of the Written Permit of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 132-3 of September 14th, 2005 and the License of the State Commission for Securities and Stock Market, serial АБ No. 113407 of 27.10.2004.
The Open Joint-Stock Company "Ukrainian Professional Bank" operates the following securities:
own debt securities;
corporate securities;
debt securities;
state securities.
At present there are two major directions of UPB's activity in the securities sector.
The first one is Bank's operations with securities that fulfils the following tasks:
bill of exchange discounting;
bill of exchange avalizing (including a tax one);
bill of exchange domiciliation;
bill of exchange custody;
bill of exchange collection;
savings certificate issuing;
operations with government domestic bonds;
paying agent services.
The second kind of activity is brokerage at the market of securities. In this regard the UPB executes:
brokerage operation;
commercial activity;
bond issuing operations.
