The Green Party of Ukraine welcomes the initiative of Eastern Partnership proposed by the European Union.
Eastern Partnership provides for the realistic format of productive interrelations between the EU and former USSR countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The Greens think that the Eastern Partnership is the most promising recent initiative aimed at prevention of the new rupture of Europe, improvement of the mutual understanding and trust, efficient sharing of the experience, and implementation of high standards in the lively important fields of human activity.

Greens fighting for workers’ rights and new green jobs as part of Green New Deal
Speaking ahead of International Workers’ Day on May 1st, the Spokespersons of the European Green Party have reiterated the Greens’ call for workers’ employment and social rights to be respected and improved on, especially at this time of economic crisis. The Spokespersons also reiterated the EGP’s commitment to create 5 million Green Collar jobs in the EU in 5 years as part of the Green New Deal presented in their election manifesto.

Kosovo independence declaration is one of the most disputable for the last years political-legal act. It doesn’t have any definite and unique appraisal either from international community or from Green Parties of Europe. Its probable consequences are out of bilateral relations or regional processes frames. Thus the discussion of this question in frames of East-West Dialogue appears to be suitable and reasonable.
