Procedure of carrying out purchase of foreign currency transactions
1. To purchase foreign currency a client of OJSC "RODOVID BANK" should submit set of documents (according to Decree of National Bank of Ukraine # 281 dated 10.08.2005) to the Central office of OJSC RODOVID BANK on time before the day of transaction.
2. Department of foreign economic activity and interbank settlements examines the documents submitted within 1 working day and after that informs on possibility to purchase foreign currency.
3. After obtaining of permission to purchase foreign currency according to the documents submitted a client should submit a bid of foreign currency purchase to the Department of foreign economic activity and interbank settlements. The bid can be transferred to the Bank via Client-Bank system. If properly effected bid is submitted to the Bank:

before 10:30, purchase of foreign currency is carried out to the day

after 10:30 − during the next working day.
4. Purchase of foreign currency is carried out in the presence of:

set of documents according to item. 1

client’s bid
-
equivalent amount in hrivna transferred to the relevant account according to payment order
-
amount of 1.5% of obligatory deduction to the Pension Fund transferred to the relevant account according to payment order

6. Procedure of foreign currency purchase to repayment of currency credit is similar to foreign currency purchase to pay for external economic contract.
7. Foreign currency should be transferred from the account to fulfill currency obligations within 5 days from the moment of crediting to account
List of the documents needed.

Clients-residents (legal entities and physical persons - subjects of business activity) have the right to purchase, exchange foreign currency with the purpose of carrying out of settlements with non-residents under trading operations on the basis of the following documents:

application for purchase of foreign currency
-
contract with the non-resident, made out according to requirements of legislation of Ukraine
-
Cargo Customs Declaration (according to the form established in conformity with Regulation on Cargo Customs Declaration approved by Decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 09.06.97 ¹ 574 with amendments), if goods are imported in the territory of Ukraine (Cargo Customs Declarations used during customs legalization of temporarily imported cargoes against obligation of return export, is not a ground for purchase, exchange of foreign currency)

certificate (of acceptance, etc.) or other document which proves granting of services, execution of works, import of the intellectual property rights, if received services (rights), executed works are paid

documents stipulated for documentary payment methods (letter of credit, collection), the bill of credit payment methods (the bill documented indebtedness of resident-importer to non-resident under the contract), if the contract provides for such payment methods

purchase, exchange of foreign currency with the purpose of payment for the bill documented indebtedness of resident-importer to non-resident under the contract − is allowed only in case of resident submits Cargo Customs Declaration which confirms delivery of production to Ukraine or the document which confirms execution of works by non-resident of works, reception of services by the resident under the terms of foreign trade contract

certificate or agreement issued according to the Decree of the Board of National bank of Ukraine dated 30.12.2003, ¹ 597 ‘On transfer of funds in national and foreign currency to credit of non-residents under certain operations’ registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, 05.02.2004, ¹ 159/8758 (with amendments).

Clients-residents (legal entities and physical persons − subjects of business activity) have the right to purchase, exchange foreign currency with the purpose of carrying out of settlements with non-residents for import of production (services) that is carried out without import of this production (services) from abroad in the territory of Ukraine on the basis of the following documents:

application for purchase of foreign currency

contract with the non-resident made out according to requirements of legislation of Ukraine
-
contract which provides for sale of products to non-resident outside of Ukraine and transfer proceeds from sales of specified products to accounts of this resident in the authorized banks, or documents which confirm need of these products use for own needs outside of Ukraine, if this resident produces goods, executes works, renders services outside of Ukraine

documents stipulated for documentary payment methods (letter of credit, collection), the bill of credit payment methods (the bill documented indebtedness of resident-importer to non-resident under the contract), if the contract provides for such payment methods
