BANK GUARANTEES FOR TOURIST COMPANIES

TF Bank "Kontrakt" Inc. offers tourist companies cooperation in issuing guarantees to cover responsibility for losses that tourists can incur in case if there arise circumstances of the insolvency of the tourist company.

Under the Law of Ukraine “About tourism” dated 18.11.2003 tourist companies are to carry out financial provision of their civil liability before the tourists via the guarantee of the bank or other credit institution.

The Bank "Kontrakt" provides such guarantees, ensuring efficient formalization of documents, individual approach to the client and loyal tariffs.

The amount of guarantees provided by the bank

For tourist operators – equivalent of not less than 20 000 Euro.
For tourist operators of exclusively internal and entrance tourism – equivalent of not less than 10 000 Euro.
For tourist agents – equivalent of not less than 2 000 Euro.

Warranty period of the guarantees – is 5 years and 3 months (according to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1755 dated 29.11.2000 “About duration of license for carrying out certain types of economic activities, amount and order of effecting payment for their issue” (with alterations and additions).

Provision

The following types of bails are considered for providing the issued guarantees:

Immovables , property rights on concluded agreements (cash deposit);

Blank (uncovered) guarantees are formalized on condition of insuring the financial risks in the insurance company.

Commission for issuing the guarantee

With provision – considered separately.
Without provision (blank):

for tourist operators – 2% of the annual cost of the amount of the guarantee with payment of the specified amount yearly during 5 years;

for tourist agents – 60 Euro with payment of the specified amount yearly during 5 years.

The bank offers tourist companies cooperation in a range of other directions, connected with tourist business, namely:

1) Consultations in preparation of the set of documents for receiving the license for tourist activities in the Service of tourism and resorts of the Ministry of culture and tourism of Ukraine;

2) Formalization of documents and receipt of license for tourist activities for you.

Besides the Bank is recommended by the AIP committee in accreditation of agencies in IATA, and thus Kontrakt offers interaction in providing bank guarantees of carrying out commitments for accreditation in IATA (International Air Transport Association). This allows the tourist companies act as an agent selling airplane tickets of the largest world carriers carrying out international flights, as well as improves the image of the tourist company among the clientele.
