  • 1. Who is a third party in OSAGO insurance?

    Third parties are individuals and/or legal entities which are subject to bearing responsibility by the Insurant for incurring damage to their life, health and property. Third parties are not parties in an insurance agreement. Persons affected are third parties (legal entities or individuals), the life, health and property of which was damaged by a motor vehicle as a result of road accident, and the vehicle owner bears a legal responsibility for these actions.

    2. Where can I write an application on the insured event occurrence and within what time span should I do this?

    The Insurant shall submit the Insurer a written notification on the event not later than 3 working days upon the date of its occurrence. If the event occurred outside Ukraine, the Insurant shall submit the Insurer a written notification on the event not later than 3 working days upon the date of the Insurant’s coming back to Ukraine.

    3. What should I do upon occurrence of the insured event?

    Please notify the Insurer on the occurrence of the insured event at 8 800 500 19 50 or notify a duly authorized representative of the Insurer. Then act according to instructions received.

    4. What is a Franchise?

    Franchise is a part of Insurant’s loss that is not indemnified by the Insurer in accordance with contractual provisions:

    • unconditional F. — a part of damage that is not indemnified by the Insurer under any conditions;
    • deductible F. — a loss incurred by the insured motor vehicle and additional equipment in the amount that is less than the deductible franchise is not indemnified by the Insurer. The loss that exceeds the franchise amount is indemnified in full.

    5. Can agents arrive at a customer’s home or office to draw up an insurance policy?

    Yes, he can. Our agent can arrive at our Customer’s office or home in order to draw up an insurance policy. Please address to any representative office of TAS IG in you region.
