Municipal airport “Kyiv” (Zhulyany) is situated almost in the city, just eight kilometers from the Kyiv’s downtown. Such location allows reaching in 2-3 hours from any region of Ukraine to its capital city and its public and business institutions.

There are main railroad and highway near the airport and this gives possibility to reach railway station in mere minutes and to reach International Airport “Borispil” in very short time. Airport authorities pay a lot of attention to providing favourable conditions for business-travelers, small tourist groups, business flights and postal transportation. All this is done for making contribution to economic development of the city and the whole country. The area of the airport is 265 hectares (655 acres). It has one runway1800 meter (1,12 mile) long and 49 meter (160 feet) wide. Airport serves to general aviation maintenance shop.

Airport provides VIP-waiting halls as well as favourable conditions for airlines making flights from airport “Kyiv”. There is also a ticket office and minibar. Airport has an opportunity to broaden the business-flight network as well as to further develop the infrastructure providing additional services for air agencies, travel agencies, residents and guests of the city.

There are air-ticket offices, air agencies, customs station, transportation service, post office, air information service, currency exchange office and other services in the territory of the airport.
