New domains: .OD.UA; .MOBI; .IN

The domain of od.ua (odessa.ua) started its existance in 1997, when Ukrainian Internet-society decided to start alternative domains in .UA zone. Since then and up until now the domain has been supported by the Administrator free of charge, though it cannot stay this way forever, so in order to develop and maintain the domain, the Administrator decided to charge yearly for each domain name support.

NIC.UA gives special conditions for the owners of Odessa domains:

• If a domain is transfered to nic.ua till Feb 01, 2009, expiration date for your domain is set to one year. E.g. if you transfer your domain to nic.ua on Jan 01, 2009, we will support it until Jan 01, 2010 absolutely free of charge. Domain transfer is free as well.
• The renewal price is set at $5 and is the same for all tariff-plans. This price is the cheapest among all the registrars of Ukraine.
• You have all the priviledges of the standard domain transfer like:
• If your plan is lower than "20%", you automatically will be switched to "20%"-plan right after the domain transfer, which means that all prices for our services are 20% lower!
• Beginning January 20, 2009 at each domain transfer you will be awarded with bonuses in banners of ABN banner network to advertise your web-site! The amount of bonus can reach upto 1 million banner-shows. Complete details of this proposal will be available at nic.ua web-site on January 1st, 2009.

Together with OD.UA domain NIC.UA now provides automatic support for .MOBI and .IN domains.

• .MOBI is a domain for mobile web-sites. It has been started by ICANN corporation in 2006, the initiative also has been supported by the union of Ericsson, Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung Electronics, T-Mobile and Vodafone corporations. .mobi domain is registered in fully automatic mode 24 hours a day.
• .IN - ccTLD domain of India. It is positioned not only as Indian regional domain, but as individual (INdividual) domain. .in domain is registered in fully automatic mode 24 hours a day.
