Kyiv, November 24 – Officers from the Berkut special police unit and agents from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had to use force to arrest the founder of the Millionaire Mentor project, U.S. citizen Robert Fletcher.

The media liaison center at the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's main office in Kyiv told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday that law enforcers arrested the businessman at the exhibition center near the Livoberezhna Metro Station at around 4 pm on Monday, after Fletcher had held another Millionaire Mentor training session.

The center said that Fletcher's security team was armed, with one member carrying a loaded carbine.

As reported, officers from the Holosiyivsky police district department arrested Fletcher on Sunday, November 23, on suspicion of fraudulent activities. A criminal case has been opened under Part 4, Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
