Press production is one of the largest subdivisions of the plant. Here, in particular, metal gets required shape, which thereafter turns into car body and component parts. This subdivision is composed of three shops belonging to the main production process (large-, middle- & small-stampings) and an area designated for repair of press M&E, dies and tooling. Total area of this subdivision makes up 31.5 thsd. sq.m.

Nowadays press production means high-performance equipment - automated cutting lines, transfer presses, including those produced by "Hitachi Zosen" Company (Japan), "Erfurt" (Germany), "Ravne" (Yugoslavia), automatic lines of parts' loading, transfer and unloading. Integrated high-quality technological process ensures full-scale production cycle.

Capacity of the press production allows manufacturing almost 2,000 part items for the model range of CJSC "ЗАЗ".
